Last Friday Night…

I go to a private school. Its fun, but sometimes it can be boring as anything! Just as the rules can be beyond ridiculous and helpful. Last Friday was a day from hell. Tests in every class, Anatomy being the worst. In short the entire class failed… :/ The rest of the day seemed to slowly worsen. However my day began to look up when I remembered I was going to a party at 6pm. I go to this party and I am one of three girls there (sketchy). As the guys go outside to set up the volleyball net, my two girlfriends and I decide we want to prank the guy who lives at this house. This small prank turned into a fast run to Walmart and all of the guys cars being pranked. Caramel, plastic wrap, silly string, and car markers = greatest night. However once the 10 guys found their cars pranked hell was to pay. They drove over to my friends house who lived a few blocks away (at midnight) and retaliated. My friend calls me on the phone saying the guys are right outside her house. I tell her to get her airsoft gun, however she said she does not have one anymore. Therefore I tell her to egg them. Girls win again. It only took one egg to make them run ;)

I have been inspired. I’m not a person who is influenced easily, in fact I am quite stubborn. However I recently purchased a CD. This CD’s theme is to speak when you have the chance, to not let a moment pass you by. At first I found this CD to be repetitively speaking of lost chances in a relationship. As I listened closer to the words of the songs I found that the singer was somewhat paralyzed by the thought of happiness found in love. The singer missed many chances at love. Whether it was a love she ended, or did not speak up to save.

This CD inspired me to speak now! Why wait, or let a moment pass on something you wanted to do or say. I have tackled several issues since my moment of inspiration. I have been outspoken in the past, after a difficult break up with a boyfriend of two years I realized I was slowly losing my voice. Now I have been gaining my voice back, surely but strongly. I will not lose an opportunity pass in which I have something to say.
